8-Session MSC Programme
“Self-compassion is simply giving the same kindness to ourselves that we would give to others.”
~ Christopher Germer
An 8-Session Mindful Self-Compassion Programme is a 24-hour deep-dive training for the development and practice of self-compassion.
Research by Dr. Kristin Neff demonstrates the proven benefits of Mindful Self-Compassion safely and effectively improves health by:
• enhancing emotional well-being
• building resilience
• boosting happiness
• reducing anxiety
• reducing depression
This training is delivered in a weekly or intensive format.
The weekly format allows time for integration between each session. This supports you to practice and reflect, embody the tools and skills in the spaces between the teaching sessions. While it can be emotionally challenging, it generates an opportunity to practise MSC skills in everyday life.
The intensive format allows you to immerse yourself deeply in MSC and experience its transformative influence without the distractions of everyday life. While it can be emotionally challenging, it enables you to give yourself unadulterated focus on yourself and your practice.
There are no pre-requisites or prior experience required for this programme.
Both beginners and those with significant mindfulness experience find this training deeply impactful.
This programme officially qualifies as one of the pre-requisites for those wishing to take the MSC Teacher Training.
