A Day at Robin Hood’s Bay
I’m keeping today’s reflections short. It has been a very busy day, and it feels like a kindness to myself to finish laptop activities soon and take some time to relax.
I thought I’d share some photos from a wonderful day out at Robin Hood’s Bay last week. With a sunny forecast and no appointments, I dedicated the day to spending time in Nature.
The photos speak for themselves. It was wondrous. There is a primal feel to the landscape at Robin Hood’s Bay, a place rich in fossils. The tide was low, allowing me to walk a couple of miles along the beach, almost entirely to myself. I reveled in being able to pause wherever I wished, soaking in my surroundings and the moment.
This week’s self-kindness invitation is to notice when you may need to rest and to accommodate these needs kindly, as best you can.
