6-Session MSC  Programme

(6 Hours)

“Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries.”
~ Dalai Lama

6-Session Mindful Self-Compassion Programme is a 6-hour brief but deep dive training for the development and practice of self-compassion.

Research by Dr. Kristin Neff demonstrates the proven* benefits of Mindful Self-Compassion safely and effectively improves health by:
• enhancing emotional well-being
• building resilience
• boosting happiness
• reducing anxiety
• reducing depression

This training is delivered in a weekly or intensive format.

The official MSC Short Course is 6 x 1 hour sessions. We call it Self-Compassion for the Time-starved! It is a great way to learn some core principles of mindful self-compassion. If you are keen to begin your MSC journey but don’t have time to commit 3 hours a week for 8 weeks, this is the perfect first step for you.  The weekly format allows time for integration between each session. This supports you to practice and reflect, embody the tools and skills in the spaces between the teachings.

There are no pre-requisites or prior experience required for this programme.

Both beginners and those with mindfulness experience find this training deeply impactful.

This programme does not qualify as one of the pre-requisites for those wishing to take the MSC Teacher Training.  It does qualify you to join our Kind Mind Academy Graduate Community

“WOW what a six weeks!  The weeks are crafted to get the most out of each session, arming you with many, many tools that can be applied in a variety of ways to live a more self compassionate life. Areas are covered in enough depth that you feel empowered by the knowledge but not overwhelmed. So many of the topics covered in the course resonated with me and I am excited to see where they take me. I would highly recommend this course to anyone.”

Natalie Brett, Parish Clerk
